Uh, but just based on what we've seen in the preseason, I feel, I feel like that's been such a great move.

And Gene, I do wanna circle back to something that you mentioned of the ability to make a couple of trades, right? Daniel Faalele, uh, Josh Uzuegbunu.

I- is from the emergence of guys like, like a JC Davis that can help you say, "All right, look, like you're not making the roster.

We know this.

Now, when you're trading away guys who are gonna be all first-team All-Pros, I'm not a fan of that.

But when you're getting and you're trading guys away that you're gonna cut, like, that's how you, that's how you get that, those, those small draft capitals in the third round that nobody thinks about until you draft a JC Davis.

They were s- sixth in scoring offense, eighth in scoring defense, 11th in yards offensively and defensively.

[sighs] I don't know, I think the offensive line is probably part of a conversation for Jacksonville, where they just traded for Daniel Faalele as a result of Patrick Mokari had surgery, right?

And, and furthermore, okay, furthermore, I love, I absolutely love, and he was my sleeper in the draft for the Giants, was JC Davis, who played a whole game at left tackle the other day.

Uh, look, i- it's taken a while, but the, the roster has steadily improved.

It's gotten deeper, and you're gonna have more players this year that, A, I think if the Giants wanna make a trade towards the end of camp, like they did with Daniel Faalele, where you get something back at a position where you're maybe a little bit fat, you could do that.

Or if the, that they can't do something like that and they have to cut some guys, I think there will be guys that get picked up on waivers relatively quick.

So I, I've been on the Javon Gwyn train ever since he moved over, purely because I get excited when players follow coaches.

But as we've learned today, that doesn't always work with our, our dear friend Daniel Faalele following John Harbaugh to New York and then being disappeared off to Jacksonville, um, presumably either because Jacksonville genuinely think they can fix him or because they really hate Trevor Lawrence and they want him killed.

We, we will find out during this season which one of those is true.

But it doesn't always work out, but I am tremendously excited about it.

I think it's easier to hide a center than it is to hide a guard, and I think the Ravens learned that the hard way last year.

And Gordon, there, there was a reference to Andrew Vorhees there.

You, you mentioned a number of times last season that the greatest beneficiary of Daniel Faalele's performance was, was Andrew Vorhees, 'cause he largely went under the radar in terms of his own.

Uh, seeing that there's a trade market for Daniel Faalele, is there any cost of ringing the phones up to see if anyone has got a seventh they, they wanna swap for a, for a left guard that is, is a total reclamation project, or is he completely fighting for a roster spot at this stage?
