Daniel GihGUEST
Yeah, so these are very serious medical and psychiatric conditions that unfortunately a good chunk of our population experience.

Daniel GihGUEST
Um, so what I meant by kinda dysfunction is that while eating disorders and schizophrenia are clearly not the same condition, uh, the level of distress that this causes, not just the person suffering it, uh, but also their caregivers, their family, uh, partners, spouses, et cetera, um, are really profound.

Daniel GihGUEST
So imagine that, um, you know, for most of us, you know, eating is a kind of pleasurable event.

Daniel GihGUEST
Um, you know, as the holidays are upon us, uh, you know, in a few months, you know, we typically think about what we're bringing or what we're gonna have and what we're gonna try.

Daniel GihGUEST
But when you're talking to someone with an eating disorder, those is, um, I think you kinda mentioned this earlier, those are literally the things that cause them immense levels of distress, internal distress, uh, agitation even.
