62:31
Why do you think it has?
62:34
Yeah, I, I'm grateful that it has.
62:36
I'm, I'm glad we're coming under these circumstances instead of the other one, because it would be catastrophic for really the entire global economy for a long period of time.
62:44
We're not out of the woods yet, but by all the accounts that I can get from some, some folks who, uh, have some, some pretty high access in the administration, uh, a- and some other things that we can see just out in the open, is that the Saudi Arabian, uh, the, the, the Mohammed bin Salman, apparently read Tr- President Trump the riot act.
63:03
And, and apparently he'd been trying to say, "Listen, don't, don't make this attack, because number one, it's not gonna work.
63:08
It's not gonna bring Iran to its knees.
63:10
If you couldn't do it in the first 40 days, if you couldn't do it in the second month of a blockade, if you couldn't do it in the 13 month of the mini attack, you certainly aren't gonna do it today." But this one was gonna spawn a significant counter strike directly against Saudi Arabia, against Qatar, against Kuwait, b- Bahrain, all those, all the GCC countries were gonna get rained on if Trump hit the energy infrastructure on the Iranian side.
67:30
... is as powerless as it would appear to be?
106:48
I don't know if you, you, you remember the, the Libyan bombing raid and Margaret Thatcher's role in that, but Keir Starmer's got a similar decision to make, hasn't he?
106:58
Well, he, he does.
106:59
I, I do.
107:00
I actually remember it quite well, and, uh, it, it was a, a huge disaster, as it turns out, certainly for the people of Libya.
107:06
It didn't solve any of the problems it was alleged to anyway, uh, and, and you know, so and, and that led to many other problems as well with the Obama administration.
107:15
So these kinds of things rarely work out good, and, and look, the, the bottom line for this one is you, you gotta start with the central question here upon...
107:23
And I'm talking on the American side at the moment, what is the legal basis for this? Uh, can we claim that because some number of protesters in another country have been killed because they were protesting against their government, and by the way, there's huge disputes on this number.

5 MINS LATER

112:44
Uh, I was watching an interview, I can't remember where it was the other day or even who it was with, and somebody mentioned international law to somebody, a, an analyst, and they said, "Oh, is that still a thing?" Because it seems to me that, I mean, Donald Trump, I mean, uh, his law is international law in his head, isn't it?
