Daniel Crowley

Welcome to the Residential Childcare Points of View Podcast Global, an independent podcast exploring the points of view about Residential Childcare worldwide.

In this episode I'm joined by Dan Crowley for a fascinating and heartfelt conversation about the realities of creating children's homes where young people can truly thrive.

Dan shares some of the hidden insights into the sector, from how people find suitable properties and finance children's homes, to the challenges of setting them up and making them work.

But we also explore something much deeper, the importance of love, relationships and creating a genuine sense of belonging to children who need it most.

It's an honest, insightful conversation that brings together the practical realities of running children's homes with the human values that really matter.

So without further ado, please welcome Dan Crowley to the podcast.

Hi Dan, so first question, can you tell me a bit about yourself and what your connection is to residential childcare?

Yeah, absolutely.

And I have a dear friend that may or may not have a pretty significant sweet tooth, especially for ice cream-related products.

And I'll keep him anonymous, but a few years ago, Pastor Dan Crowley invited me over.

Sorry, man, I know that's two weeks in a row.

I'm picking on you.

We have an amazing pastor in our church, and I love him, but I'm gonna pick on him.

His name is Pastor Dan Crowley.

He is amazing.

I met Dan over 20 years ago.

Render no longer plays.

Neither does Dan Crowley.

But I'm still a wildcard.

So I'm assembling a team of myself, a member of Annotixor, and another team member who can drink like an absolute fish.
