Daniel Corkery

So it would have been a very quiet campaign.

There's a really interesting book if you're interested in sort of Irishness called Hidden Ireland by Daniel Corkery.

I think it's a turn of the 20th century book.

And one of the things that I got from that book, which, you know, it's sort of an oldie but goodie, is that people who have been colonized and whose culture has been actively attacked and attempted to be eradicated or deracinated, find ways of secretly maintaining their culture.
