Daniel 8

Really, 10 through 12 should be one chapter.

But the four visions are Daniel 7, Daniel 8, Daniel 9, and then 10 through 12.

We include in that Daniel 2.

Now, I address all of those chapters in Mideast Beast.

And he becomes, arguably, the single greatest prototype or prophetic shadow of the Antichrist in all of Scripture.

And so when you look at chapters 8 and then 10 through 12, those two portions of Daniel seem to point to the Middle East, but from a, again, traditional futurist dispensationalist perspective, but Daniel 2 and 7 seem to be pointing toward Europe or toward Rome.

And the only way to cause all of these chapters to flow together in one, as I said, natural flow, one coherent, contiguous manner, is if we properly understand that Daniel 2 and 7 actually culminates with the Middle East and thus causing Daniel 2, Daniel 7, Daniel 8, Daniel 10 through 12 all to flow together very naturally.

Oftentimes people approach the book of Daniel as if it's just this broken, disjointed cluster of prophecies.

And we see it in Daniel chapter 10.

Remember how the little horn in Daniel 8 grows until it reaches the heavens and throws down some of the heavenly host and sets itself up against the prince of princes.

Well, Gabriel's description is he will become very strong but not by his own power.

What's going on? What is this power behind the power of the beast or the power of Antiochus? Well, two chapters later, the curtain is pulled back.

And again, that's significant because the Bible describes this union as having 10 kings.

And it describes the Daniel 8 man as coming in by flatteries, not by the democratic process.

So we're about to see some major disruptions in European affairs, and we can actually look into the Bible and see where it's leading.

I mean, those are the things that they hope to accomplish in this several-day conference, making Jerusalem the center, which again, I find that interesting because we do know that, of course, the Antichrist is going to, it seems to be that he is going to use or eventually make Jerusalem at least one of his headquarters enough to where, and I say this often that Interestingly, you have the Third Temple Movement, which I've written a lot about, the Red Heifer Movement, etc., which is still in motion.

But the fact of the matter is, I say this, if you're the Antichrist and your goal is to blaspheme the God of heaven, which we know, Daniel 7, Daniel 8, Daniel 11, there's a lot of descriptions of this character.

He's a big mouth.

I mean, he's just, he's a blasphemer left and right.
