And I'm like, dude, and I, I get off stage and I meet them, 'cause the lead singer of Dance Gavin Dance, motherfucker's the best-looking dude, human being I've ever seen in my life.

Um, if it was a band, it'd probably be either Neck Deep or Dance Gavin Dance.

I think that's, that's pretty sweet.

So that's cool.

In fact, I'd forgotten about it, and it was, like, on Reddit as well, and somebody messaged me on Instagram and said, "Is this you?" And I'm listening to the song [laughs] and I'd totally forgotten recording it, and it, in fact, it was me.

And I go, "Yeah, that was the Chiodos audition thing." [laughs] And so that was kind of funny I did, like, a feature for Dance Gavin Dance, a song called Uneasy Hearts Way the Most, which I believe they still close with.

And so yeah, it's always fun to do collabs, features, just trying to kind of keep that muscle exercised so it doesn't go away.

I, I'm always afraid of, like, taking too much time off writing and doing music that when I come back to it at some point it's just gone.

The first band that we're going to discuss is Dance Gavin Dance.

and in particular, one of their lead singers, Tillian Pearson.

So Pearson began his musical career by forming the prog rock band Tides of Man.

Like Senses Fail had a bunch of people.

It's the same with Dance Gavin Dance.

It's interesting to me because I see a lead singer usually as kind of like what makes up so much of the band.
