Um, so I think that's what they're going for here.

Uh, Ben had a story up on the site about it, and his first quote from the Springbirds general manager, Dan Reiter, was, "We're a traditional fan base, so this fits what a rebrand should be in our market.

Then you c- that you can now be in Double-A playing for the Springbirds, and then go to Triple-A with the Memphis Redbirds, and then try to move on to the St- St. Louis Cardinals.

I think our fan base is going to appreciate that, and on the player side, it's a natural progression." So this isn't some, like, big, wild change here.

So we're gonna get, let's get right to the interviews, Dan, 'cause you and I are gonna chat a lot on this episode about your Ozarks Springbirds, the reborn Springfield Cardinals.

We're gonna speak with Dan Reiter, who has been on this podcast recently when the then Springfield Cardinals played as the Ozarks Snipehunters.

And then, you know, I wasn't invited back, uh, after they had made their particular decisions.

I don't, we were pretty vocal.

... tell our Springfield, Missouri, our Branson, Missouri, our Ozarks region story.

Mm-hmm.

Dan Reiter, I applaud him.

He's getting ready to tell a massive story-

It's, uh, it's cool.

You know, uh, Dan Reiter, the, the GM there, uh, in Springfield reached out, uh, to, you know, myself and the, the Cardinals alumni and asked if I was in town and, and available to, to come down to Springfield and be a part of this, uh, rebranding, renaming, uh, for the organization.

And, you know, I said yes, uh, immediately.
