I mean, putting Liam Parra aside, who has one of the titles from uh not from the united states but from australia but the rest of the champions and the other top names are american they can mix it up with each other where it's ryan garcia tfmo lopez brian norman former champion um you know devin haney of course has one of the titles i mean these are all It's a division that the United States fighters have ruled for many years, you know, with a few exceptions along the way, of course.

But there's good matchups.

I mean, obviously, there's a number of fights that Ryan can make.

And the thing is, as you said, Ryan is a star of the show these days.

I think this fight has it all.

I've not heard anybody from either side say that both sides haven't signed contracts for the fight.

So that means the fight's made.

To me, it's not that complicated.

To me, it's a matter of everybody sat in a room or changed emails or talked on the phone or whatever it was, and they all came to an agreement, and that agreement, according to the people involved, was that the fight would be taking place in the United Kingdom.

They all signed contracts, and now it was a matter of, okay, everybody's waiting for, okay, what's the date and what's the exact site in the UK? Pretty standard.

I mean, that's, that's normal.

But the people that after they signed the contract on the, uh, I guess on the seller side or on the Netflix side, the people who are gonna broadcast this fight, and I'm sure spending, you know, tens and tens of millions of dollars to do so, decided they would prefer to have this fight in the United States.

Again, that's okay.

I mean, obviously, it's still a big fight because people wanna see those two great names, Tris, against each other in a fight that a lot of us have waited a long, long time for.

But I don't think that these two appearances helped either one of them.

Fury kind of lumbered his way through a, you know, a sparring session the first seven rounds, and then Marius Wach retired, or his corner stopped the fight.

And seriously, because of what occurred between his own whatever minor injuries he suffered that we still don't know exactly what they were in terms of the car accident that happened in, uh, December, just a few weeks after his victory against Jake Paul, combined of course with the, the very, uh, tragic situation with the death of his friends, uh, you know, you wanna make sure if you're gonna put him in a big time fight against a Tyson Fury, you want him to be physically, uh, good to go, to make sure everything was good, whatever those injuries were, and also that he's mentally there.

Uh, and it's like, uh, Eddie Hearn said in the post-fight interview, you know, when he was on the floor in the first round twice, he was thinking, "We, we made this match, we brought him back too quickly.

We didn't give him enough time to, to deal with all the things that were going on in his life." Uh, and it was almost a disaster.

But if you're going to make a match and give him that opportunity to have the warm-up fight, why in the world would you match him with a guy who has only one chance to win, and that's by landing a devastating punch? Because the only thing that Christian Pranga brought to the table was his supposed punching power, and it almost turned into be an outright disaster.
