Dan O'Connor

yeah yeah

okay a little bit oh yeah that's dope i'm So whenever you get the chance not to plug or whatever, but yeah, if you like our stuff, we have a song with, uh, Dan O'Connor from four years strong.

It's called easy core money.

And so our first

But Chad had a heavy vocal part in it, you know, where he screams, "I am a work of art." And while singing, Jordan lost his composure and walked offstage.

So then there was a moment of everyone wondering what was gonna happen, and that's when things sorta got personal for me, in that Dan O'Connor from Four Year Strong, from Worcester, one of my favorite bands, and Worcester is my hometown.

He was only a couple years younger than me, went to high school literally three miles down the road from me, has been playing with New Found Glory.

He's been their second guitarist, and obviously as Chad got sick, he became many times the main guitarist, and that's who he was during the Epcot performances.

You can hear he's singing both parts.

He's singing Jordan's part and he's singing his, or Chad's part.

And it was so weird because it was like in that moment, two people who weren't in the original formation of New Found Glory, 'cause remember, they were from Florida, and Dan and I, we grew up, Dan O'Connor from Four Year Strong, not Daniel T. Richards of Samaris, grew up in Worcester.

And, you know, I didn't really get into New Found Glory until the early 2000s, my freshman year of college.

Let's surround each other with the love and friendship Andy gave us, a night to share stories, shed some tears, laugh, and celebrate our friend together.

The event announcement said, Acoustic sets will be performed by Stephen Brodsky, and Adam McGrath of Cave-In, Dan O'Connor and Alan Day of Four Years Strong, and Anthony Green.

No, they're different.

I mean, people like Dan O'Connor are always, you know, the big influences.

There's plenty of other people on a lower tier but that's the top of the top level.

Do those influences change over time in terms of who you're listening to and has that changed in recent years?
