Dan Moss

Let's finish with our moments of the weekend in League Two.

Gregor, I am gonna go, uh, first With another slightly off-the-wall one, and it's a clearance off the line by Dan Moss for Rochdale to get them a nil-nil draw at Walsall in the second half of this game.

Much needed.

But team bottom of the table, York City, of course, promoted, as with Rochdale, having very contrasting seasons.

Um, but they really, really needed something in this game.

They got a draw, and you'll be delighted to hear that there were modest celebrations from Dan Moss and his teammates.

There were no chest bumps, no Arsenal Gabriel-style high fives.

It was just a little pat on the bum.

He just wouldn't have it, 'cause he's a cultural kind of architect.

You, you can obviously have a go at the way he plays and, you know, he, he... sometimes he has his moments, right? But, but in terms of, like, spirit, determination, and kind of fight for the shirt, you know, I, I'll throw Dan Moss into that.

I know he's kind of one of them in that kind of string.

But it was just a, it was just an horrible, horrible moment that I think, yeah, it kind of boils down to that kind of like intangible element of, like, a disconnect to the team, and that shouldn't have happened so quickly.

Um, so that's where he's not getting me injuries sympathy from me personally.

I think some of that though is, is by circumstance.

Like, I think the idea was probably that if Beckwith's out for a bit, then Dan Moss can probably fill in at left back, but now we've got no fit center back, so he's having to play center half.

Do you know what I mean?
