Dan McKellar

Are they going to, you know, Angus Crichton's coming in.

But George Pullman, funnily enough, Dan McKellar signed him with the idea of him being a 12.

And he didn't play 12 this year for the Tars, play 13 in the wing.

But he had a cracking game once again in the 12 jersey.

But I think right now after six, seven years of professional rugby, he's so much more equipped to be able to have a strong 12 months coming into what should be his prime years.

And in relation to super rugby, I'm told that he would have been signing with the Waratahs in 2028 had Dan McKellar been the coach still.

So he would have come back.

I'm almost certain of that.

And that's now completely off, you think? I can't see him coming back now.

But you never know because his wife-to-be is in the arts space and Sydney was going to be a reasonable home potentially for that.

So I don't think you can ever say never, but it would have made a lot more sense under a Dan McKellar coached environment given that McKellar was the person that brought him in and backed him

as the 10 in 2020.

And I say at Christmas this year, that opportunity came up to go to Australia And yeah, I didn't really look back.

I, I, I got a call from head coach Dan McKellar, who was at Leicester a couple years ago.

He's since been at the Waratahs, and he just said, "Look, there's a role in the S&C team.

Is it something you might be interested in?" Said yes.

It's, it's by far one of the, the best teams, you know, I say I've been involved in, but I've been very fortunate to have a very, very, very small, you know, piece, piece of that of.

Brilliant.

So we mentioned that you went to the Waratahs, and you mentioned Dan McKellar.

There's also a couple of other Tigers links, wasn't there? Harry Potter, ex-Tigers winger, was there then.

Who've had some good links with Tigers, some good players like Harry Potter has been there recently, or is there, and has been there for the last couple of years.

Dan McKellar, of course, has coached there, who's left now.

Michael Checker has gone back in to day-to-day management, coaching.

And that'll be interesting to see how they go this year because they haven't had a great amount of success in the last couple of years.
