Dan Lancaster

Like, and their live performances speak for themselves.

Okay, so on this record too, there's also something unique where, um, their utility guy, who his name is Dan Lancaster, he actually produced eight tracks on this record.

And that is kind of a new thing for Muse.

They've always been very, um, particular about who's getting their hands in the songs.

So he was with them for, like- 15, 20 years.

Well, a couple records ago, this guy...

So Morgan Nicholls decided to not tour with Muse anymore, and they replaced him with this guy named Dan Lancaster, who has, um, been doing it the last few tours.

They actually took him on, and he helped write songs and helped produce on this record.

Rou took a really isolating, dark period of his life, complete with writer's block, then rebounded and turned it around into the band's biggest song to date, with the full record going straight to number one on the UK albums charts, their first album to do so.

And Rou was very complimentary towards Dan Lancaster, with whom he mixed the record with, as he should be.

The sonics are massive.

So for all this in a rattlesnake shake, don't you dare slither away.

But yeah, it j- I guess it just, if you're, if you're so excited by the, the first track, it just like propels the, the whole, you know, uh, journey of the album forward, uh, as a creator.

He's worked with the 5 Seconds of Summer, Bring Me the Horizon and Muse to na- to name a few.
