Dan Kieran

That's my kind of thing.

Um, many anglers will also know him as deputy editor of Fallon's Angler, the quarterly fishing magazine.

Is it quarterly, Kevin?

It is, yep.

Yes.

We s- probably see as many, if not more, of those than herons now.

Hello, and welcome to this episode of Where To Next, a program from Do Radio.

My name's Dan Kieran, and in my last episode I visited the paintings, 21,000-year-old cave paintings in Lascaux in Southern France, and we talked in that episode about how the prevailing wisdom seems to be that these incredible paintings were created through shamanic states and hallucinatory experiences.

And these are then often, in the literature at least, slightly trivialized as being nothing more than examples of extreme brain chemistry.

So this week I wanted us to visit Eva Franush, who's a friend of mine who's been working with plant medicines for many years, and Eva has just come back from an experience of iboga, which is known as the queen of psychedelics.

... and then I went into living my life in the programs I was programmed into.

[laughs]

Okay, you did the, The Dance of Polite Society interviewed Martin Shaw-

Yeah
