The first is an eight-page look at Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb's Batman, featuring the Dark Knight taking out some kidnappers to rescue a boy from a wealthy family, then meeting up with Killer Croc.

The second was a look at the new G.I. Joe, Front Line, a book that was debuting with a story by a powerhouse trio of comic book veterans, Larry Hama, Dan Jurgens, and Bob Layton.
