Dan Hall

... that he does.

A really important, another really important player for this team will be Aaron Calver, who's been brought in to replace Dan Hall at center back.

He's an Aussie.

Yeah

He's gonna be a really important as well.

Massive loss, man.

Dan Hall, eh?

Yeah

So he's very much from that sort of Iberian school of you keep the ball, you keep the ball, you keep the ball, you make the other team chase.

Um, and he talked about Dan Hall.

You know, he said, for example, that Dan Hall is a great one-on-one defender, a great physical defender, but if you lose Dan Hall, then how do you defend as a team? So taking the physicality out of it to an extent and making it more of a team game and more of a if the opposition don't have the ball, they can't score.

So, uh-

Right

Obviously, we lost some important players last year.

you'll be honest you're not going to be around the bus you louis strata's dan hall jesse randles but one thing that gives me a hell of a lot of encouragement is we've kept leaders and we've kept winners within the side and we've also added to that with like the likes of lockheed bayliss who won the premieres last year with with jets aaron calver who's been around football for god knows how long ozzy football played in Asia, won the league before.

And then lads that we've promoted from the OFC side, like Ronan Wynne, Dan Norman, who granted the Pro League isn't the A-League, but there's still that winning mentality in there.

Luke Cassidy is part of the coaching staff now as well.

You're testing my memory here, but yes, I'm going to give it a go.

So what, Jesse Randall sold.

No, no, no. Louis Vistrada sold and Dan Hall.

I will help.

He's departed along with Jesse Randall, Guillermo Maia obviously to the Victory.

Um, Dan Hall's gone off to Japan, I think it was.

Um, Liam Gillian, Jake Good- Goodrie as well.

So, um, lots of, uh, big names in there that have departed the club.

Pedro Moreira is the new man in charge.

On the field, key members of the championship-winning squad, Guillermo Mai, Louis Vistrata, Dan Hall, Jake Goodwood-Reich, Liam Gillian and Jesse Randall have also all moved on.

Joined in studio by Auckland FC CEO Nick Becker and Director of Football at the club Terry McFlynn.

Great to see you both.

Jackson Irvine played 90 minutes, making the most tackles in Cerezo Osaka's one-all draw last night.

Poor Jeff United, they did take a 1-0 lead, but go down 2-1 with Dan Hall playing 90 minutes in this one.

Not sure if he was close to Socorro's selection, but he was certainly a name being thrown around.

And we've just seen a couple of games this evening, mate.

Pedro Moreira has taken over as head coach.

A number of important members of the championship-winning squad have also moved on, including Dan Hall, Gijomo Mai, Louis Vistrata and Jesse Randall.

But the club has brought in some new faces, including All-Whites attacker Lachlan Bayliss and experienced defender Aaron Kelver.

The new A-League season now just a month away.

You've lost a couple of key players, as I mentioned.

Some big players, actually.

Dan Hall, Gijumo Mai, Louis Vistrada, Jesse Randall.

They've all moved on.
