Dan Gillespie Sells

I didn't think I'd really had much of a chance because I didn't have a great deal of experience or sort of, I certainly didn't have music GCSE, but I'd come a long way quite quickly because I was doing nothing else.

But I applied and auditioned and I think, I mean what I realise now with Brit School and I think one of the reasons it's had a lot of success with its music department is there they're not actually generally looking for people that sort of virtuoso talent or that there's there's other music colleges that are brilliant for that Brits looking for potential and they're looking for when they see some people are like oh this this kid could go somewhere maybe or there's potential there that hasn't really been tapped or that they maybe haven't had the opportunities or met the right people that's more what they look for So I got a place and on my first day I met Dan Sells.

So we're both 16 years old and on our third day we started our first band.
