Damnation A.D.

They started out as more of a hardcore-centric band, being fans of bands like Earth Crisis and Disembodied and all of that.

But they really got into a band called Damnation A.D., and that's when they decided to form a band that was really aggressive.

And then they got into At the Gates and the melodic death metal scene.

And it was all downhill from there.

We're a surprise guest.

It's us, Trapped Under Ice, Youth of Today, and Damnation A.D.

Oh my God in heaven.

It's, we're doing the first album only.

And so we fell in love with that kinda music.

And, um, there's one band in particular called Damnation A.D., and they're from Washington, D.C., and they were just, like, our gods, you know? They-

Mm-hmm

... we loved their music so much.

So Carl and Tim have all their friends from California help them figure out how to open a shop.

Um, Mike DC, who sang for Damnation A.D.-

Mm

... was the first counter guy at Jinx Proof, and he's the one that actually found them their first space.

Amazing.

Mm-hmm.

And then we had Damnation A.D.

Sick.
