But yeah, I am all for these younger writers and directors and actors in Hollywood right now kind of take over the horror scene.

And I think a lot of this has to do with Damian Leone from Terrifier franchise.

The grassroots indie horror.

And I think Terrifier, I think Damian Leone started that, kind of modernizing it and making it a mainstream success.

and for a while they were paying it and then the drip stopped and now it's become this huge phenomenon I got to say to Damien Leone or whoever, you got to pay this.

Circus of the Dead came out one year after Damien Leone's All Hallows Eve, so it is a coincidence that Popcorn, the lead killer clown, looks kind of like art.

In a nutshell, if Rob Zombie and Damien Leone decided to team up and make the worst possible horror film in the history of horror films as a gag, Circus of the Dead would be it.
