Dalton Risner

The defensive front has to crush, the offensive front has to crush, and that's how they're going to win this game.

I don't know if the Steelers can neutralize that anymore because Dalton Risner and Amarius Mims look great.

The offensive line is doing so much better.

The defensive front is so much more formidable.

I was looking at the pass protection numbers, and you got Amarius Mims, 38 pass protection snaps, no pressures.

Same thing for Dalton Risner.

And across the board, pretty strong there.

You know, I just I look at that and that has been the thing that has gotten in Joe Burrow's way so much in his career.

Basically what happened was with seven games left in the regular year, they made a change in the starting lineup.

Dalton Risner became their starter at right guard, and from then on for the rest of the season they really played well.

He was a free agent at the end of the year.

They were able to extend him, so they've got the continuity of having all five guys back.

[clapping]50-yard field goals.

And if it's not for Dalton Risner, he only gets two.

I mean, the guy's incredible to me.

I mean, when you can get to the 40 and you c- and your offense, well, for whatever reason stalls, the guy comes out and puts three points on the board, what an incredible weapon.

I'll talk about him later.

But Dalton Risner and Ver- and Dylan Fairchild, pretty much anybody not named Marius Mims struggled.

Risner had a 45.7 pass block grade, and Fairchild had a 66, so obviously not great there.

There was a lot of interior leakage, which best part of the b- of the Texans' defensive line is their edge rushers, Antonio Hunter and Will Anderson, and they did their thing.
