The most glaring one i think is is the secondary which is really strange given that mike elko said preseason this is the best secondary i've ever coached and the names are fantastic in the the defensive backfield right i mean the you know we know the the names they're they're experienced starters dalton brooks um You know, Julio Humphrey, Des Ricks, like, seems like Marcus Ratcliffe, like, it seems like we got some dudes back there, and I like all those guys, and they've done a lot of good things, but they were lost yesterday, and I don't really know what happened.

Mike Elko did say in the post-game press conference that there were a lot of eye violations in the secondary that allowed big plays.

Man, like, that is just...

Like a lot of these guys these days, what does he do? He dresses his plays up with window dressing and motion and stuff to take your eyes away from the ball, right, or distract you.

Hey, look over here when the real play that we're running is designed to go this way.

And I'm just surprised that guys like Dalton Brooks, like Marcus Ratliff, weren't prepared for that stuff, man.

They are veterans.

For them to be able to one of the first transfer portal additions they had in 24 – was to lock down a captain, right? Is to lock down Marcus Ratcliffe.

And they got a Dalton Brooks.

And those two are both captains, starting safeties.

They look at who they brought in from this class and Chance Collins.

If it's fourth and short, fourth and a half, fourth and one, you're probably not going to dial up some exotic blitz, but if it's that fourth and, Four, fourth and three even, you might throw something that the Kentucky offensive line is not ready for.

That's kind of Mike Elko's specialty, getting in his bag, giving those exotic blitz looks, rolling down Dalton Brooks and having him come after the quarterback or Marcus Ratliff.

Confusing the offensive line and getting a free rusher on a critical third and fourth down is something Mike Alko has done over and over and over in his tenure at A&M, even as the DC under Jimbo Fisher.
