What's the biggest, like, moment that you had to do? Maybe at the time, maybe it's something that's easy now, but do you remember in your career when you think, "Holy dooley, this is a big moment right now"?

Um, who's the best player in the competition at the moment? Like-

Who wins the Dally M next week, or who's the best player?

In your opinion.

They'd be favourite for St Fisty Cuffs at those awards, wouldn't they? At the rugby league, there'll be a lot of personal battles.

Well, that's what happens after the Daly M's.

Oh, really? Oh, there's always fights.

Between journos? Sometimes between journos and journos, between journos and

Rises on the field.

If he has the first 10 games this season, he's maybe leading the Dally M's, he's killing it every week.

This guy is capable of that.

Souths are eight and two and he's on fire.

this is why they're always a bit funny, 'cause they're purely based on points, nothing else.

Where I think the Dally M is based on like the vibe.

Yeah, I don't like that.

Neither do I.

We were confident the yarn was right.

We'd actually been at the Dally M Awards the night before.

Uh, and as is often the case when you're working in the media, some of your best yarns you pick up, and I'm sure you've done this-

I'd been working on this story for about a month, and then on the night of the Dally M's, couple of people I was really close to came up to me and said, "Hey, you know you've been asking questions about that.

It's 100% right.

So 14 names that get nominated, that, that get voted for by their peers in the Dream Team.

We're gonna go through that today and give our live reaction, 'cause personally, you guys know how I feel about the Dally M Medal.

I don't think it's insignificant.

Uh, it obviously plays a huge role in our game and it's of great importance, but sometimes I don't really like the way that the system works and all that sort of stuff, and I think it, it leads to a lot of controversy when it comes to, um, the, you know, the positional awards and all that sort of stuff.

Certain things that, you know, players nowadays value a little bit more than what we probably realize, that players pick up on.

I think it also...

There's a couple of guys I'm gonna talk about who I think will probably miss out on Dally M Medal awards, but they've picked up a spot in the Dream Team because maybe they had injuries or stuff like that.

But players that have gone up against them, they know the sort of impact that they have and they've managed to get their votes.

... who I, I think is gotta be a short price favorite to be the Dally M Player of the Year next week.

But in saying that, um, it, it's been a really good energy around the club.

The, the staff, um, the staff are really excited, especially, you know, everyone in sponsorship and, uh, all the content and, um, marketing.
