um and then i mean one of my best experiences was tyler wesley auditioned for Dally and Dallas Winston is like a notoriously hard part to cast it's such a like incredible role and this kid just came in like with it and I actually think about Sadie Soverell who was in John Proctor in London as well like these auditions where I was like I'm gonna ask you to do it again just so I can watch you again and Watch you do it again.

And I think that has to do with preparation, with trusting yourself and your intuition and your take on something, and committing, even in an audition space.

And I think it has to do with allowing yourself to fall in love with something knowing you may not get it, which I feel like is what I had to do when I was trying to get The Outsiders, and it made me respect actors even more.
