So Dale Wimbrow wrote this poem to a young man who wrote it in a letter to the American Mercury magazine and back in the day before, obviously, Internet.

And it was a moral quandary about something financial.

And so lots of submissions were offered to this young man to help guide him.

And Dale Wimbrow's poem was the response that won.
