Dale Weise

My last year ever, uh, of professional hockey, I went down with the Rangers organization, and I was privileged to play with, uh, the super famous Dale Weise.

[laughs]

I got the NHL version, and we- it's funny 'cause we always talk about the great teammates we had, and Dale is right on the top of the list for sure.

Yeah

... drinking coffee, just enjoying the national.

Let's, uh, bring in Dale Weise, who's just a, a phenomenal teammate.

He was a waiver wire pickup, and he did a solid job to the point where he was part of the team that, uh, took the Rangers, uh, to seven games.

Uh, Kyle Wellwood, Jeff Cowan, The Broadbarian, Dale Weise.

Uh, Bar- uh, uh, the, The Broadbarian guy, yeah.

Yeah.

They sent Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann.

Uh, clearly, the Blackhawks', uh, pro scouting, uh, was out to lunch because anybody could see that Fleischmann, who made the team on a tryout basis, he, he was done by, like, the end of November.

But anyway, they sent Weise and Fleischmann to Chicago for Danault and a second-round pick.
