Dale Hamer

I don't even know if there's any way that we could even replicate what, how, what the situation was, but we'll just say that he was, uh, making a crotch grab, uh, signal to somebody who was, uh, uh, giving him, uh, the business from the, from the crowd, and so he sat for a game.

Um, so and then we go back to 1980, um, there was an enforcement, uh, situation, an unenforced foul, uh, that hit, uh, Dale Hamer and Bam McGlass.

Dale Hamer became a, a referee, uh, and a replay official.

Uh, they were given, uh, a bye for the post-season that year, uh, basically because the game was in hand and they were not going to enforce a foul with seconds to go in the game.

Although that was the way they did it typically, they said it to the coach and that was a, that was not acceptable.
