Dale Bruning

So he was like a serious person.

And Dale Bruning and Bob Badgley are very serious people.

Dale Bruning was, he played all the time.

He taught all the time.

You know, he's a full-time teacher and musician, made records.

People are always trying to like take it out or go and, you know, push the form or push things.

But like, there's so much you can do with just within a very limited set of constructions and just, and see how creative you can be.

And I remember Dale Bruning talking about that, how there's, especially when you go to a place like Berkeley, they're like, you gotta learn all these other scales and all this other stuff and be able to do this and this and that.
