Anyway, he comes back with a newspaper clipping and he's like, that'll give you a laugh, it will.

And so it's a Daily Prophet article and it says, Inquiry at the Ministry of Magic.

And it's basically a story about Arthur Weasley and his magic car.

So Arthur has been fined 50 galleons for bewitching a muggle car.

And Malfoy says, well, go up to the hospital wing and give all those mudbloods a kick from me then.

Ha ha.

You know, I'm surprised the Daily Prophet hasn't reported all these attacks yet.

Actually, I'm surprised too.

He listens to the Muggle news, extensively um and he is being delivered the daily profit and he only reads the headlines and i do not understand that he is bored and at the same time craves information and does not read the newspaper why isn't he reading it i don't get it

I had that thought, too, mostly about, you know, if he doesn't have anything to do, why isn't he just reading The Daily Prophet and, you know, kind of absorbing this really cool, wild wizarding world that he has only relatively recently become a part of? Like, read the music section.

Like, there has to be so much going on in there.

But I imagine, you know...

You know, I mean, he would at least know that and that would explain why the Daily Prophet isn't saying anything.

I don't know if I would consider them the least likely drinking buddies ever.

But yeah, um, beetle, being a beetle, you should be pretty easy to get out of certain sit- situations for the most part.

Right.

Um, so we do find out at the end of this book that, um, Xenophilius sells the story to the Daily Prophet, so it does get reprinted by the Daily Prophet, and I do think this kind of contributes to Rita's return as a journalist.
