D&D Studios

When do you wanna record it?" And they're like, "Yeah, we're up in New York in August." Um, and I was like, "Okay, I'll meet you there.

I'm gonna book D&D Studios," which is where DJ Premier, Beatminerz, Lord Finesse, basically Gangstar, the home of New York East Coast hip-hop's out of there, right? And, um, I get in there.

Um, I've got two sessions.

So I've got the, the, I've got The Congos in there as well, yeah, Cedric Myton, and the Pharcyde across two days.

Where did they come to? What was the, how did that work, that?

I recorded most of it in the studio called D&D Studios, uh, on 37th Street, which is famous for, like, um, a lot of the '90s hip-hop.

Mm-hmm.

Like all the Gang Starr and the DJ Premier stuff-

... and the Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik, and all the rappers.

Jay-Z, everybody recorded there.

Biggie, Nas, everybody recorded at D&D Studios.

Wow.
