Cyrus Polu

Really on both sides of the ball right now for this University of Utah football team, we're seeing a, a great amount of depth.

Uh, yes, you have star players in both categories, but there's not a significant drop-off, at least from my vantage point, when Elijah Ellis and Cyrus Polu are in there versus when it's Trey Reynolds and John Uhall.

And that, I think, you know, we're taking it for granted already four games into the season, but it's not, [clears throat] it's not all that normal, especially in the modern era of college football, where transfer portal and NIL opportunities have actually diminished depth in a lot of places, especially in places where you don't have unlimited funds.

But I, I'm looking at this Utah football team and I'm like, "Man, the t- the two deep feels really good in a lot of these very crucial positions." How have you and the rest of your coaches been able to achieve that?

Yeah.

It's just taking those younger kids that you're bringing in from high school and developing them.

You know, you mentioned Cyrus Polu and Elijah Ellis.

Those are two great examples of what we've been able to, number one, recruit to and number two, develop them.
