And these teams' events don't very often come down to the last hole or the last match in the singles events.

I asked what your favorite golf course was, you know, what's your favorite golf course? And you got a lot of the same stuff, right? You'd get your, you know, a Pine Valley, an Oakmont.

You'd get Cypress Point comes up a lot, Pebble a little bit, you know, that kind of thing.

Like the usual suspects, if you will, like start popping up.

I said, okay, well, I kind of figured those are answers.

Nathan Smith, the American captain, was good enough to join us last week and, um, you know, you gotta play every, e- every one of these big events to the end.

And whereas it was the Americans who won eight and a half of the potential 10 points in the closing singles matches last year to win, um, going away really at Cypress Point.

It was the lads from Great Britain and Ireland who rallied really in a furious manner to win and, and prevail in, in the singles matches.

Helped them snap a, uh, a five-match US win streak and prevail by a single point at Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland.
