So I spoke with Peter Reid, the NSW State Representative for the club, about these home-built race cars that were based on a range of 30s, 40s and 50s cars.

I'm standing with Pete from the Cycle Kart Club of Australia.

I've never seen one of these before, so I think it's best to start off with a description, Pete, of what they are.

They're basically a 70% scale of a pre-war race car from the 1930s, but built out of go-kart and motorcycle parts.
