I think they've definitely done enough.
BradHOST
46:38
I think they've done enough by the time Phantom Liberty came out to kind of garner that goodwill back.
BradHOST
46:44
However...
BradHOST
46:46
There is still part of me that I don't think I will pre-order the next CD Projekt Red game.
BenHOST
48:34
I had Gen 1, Xbox One, and I could smell it.
BradHOST
48:40
I would say though, Joe, if the framing around Cyberpunk's launch was this is the early access, yes would you be feeling the same because to be honest that is exactly what it was it was an early access and now is the well a few years ago was the the one point
JoeHOST
48:57
so you mean like when they brought out phantom liberty that was when the game actually released yeah
BradHOST
49:01
but you usually i think you're like me you don't tend to want to get into early access games because you don't you want the finished version I've been
Jesse NorrisHOST

be a bespoke build.
Jesse NorrisHOST
16:09
That's why you saw like I with Phantom Liberty, I got a bespoke build and those are way easier again to do on PC.
Jesse NorrisHOST
16:15
That's why Modern Warfare's review events were PC because that's DLC for the COD launcher.
Jesse NorrisHOST
16:22
So it's really hard to whitelist 50 people.

um
AndrewHOST
10:14
Let's see.
AndrewHOST
10:16
Then I guess before jumping into the next segment, I kind of knowing that we are going to be wrapping up Phantom Liberty this session.
AndrewHOST
10:26
I and then even though I know we can come back to Dogtown because I've left and come back before and I still decided to try to knock out as many side quests as possible before going back.
WillHOST
6:24
And from March when it came out to now, October 27th, we're about two days out from a whole new expansion of DLC.
WillHOST
6:32
But I mean, it's pretty much a whole new game right they did a 2.0 expansion or rather 2.0 like release they had it come out now as the enhanced edition they've pretty much put out a new patch like every maybe two three weeks and it's not like oh you fix this thing that was broken fixes and it was broken they were like oh here's a ton of new pets here's a bunch of new stuff to do we gave characters new moves we did this we did that so they are just constantly staying up there so Pearl Abyss you know excellent job kind of keeping Crimson Desert alive in the same vein same deal CD Projekt Red doing the same thing with Cyberpunk 2077 game came out in 2020 and it was pretty rough overall from there they've just continued to add on to it improve the game as a whole make things better had that great expansion of Phantom Liberty that I also own and need to work my way through but as of the date of this recording they had just come out with that 2.5 release to coincide with Edge Runners season 2 which

at least four or more
TrevHOST
15:22
it's just something to whet the appetite a little bit longer it had massive problems when it came out but they done the equivalent of a no man's sky and just updated it and improved it and improved it and didn't charge for anything additional until The big DLC came out, Phantom Liberty at Eden, and it sold 15 million copies on top of the 40 million from Cyberpunk.
TrevHOST
15:50
There is a mass of notes here, like patch notes.
TrevHOST
15:57
I won't read out most of them, to be fair, but it will support DLSS 4.5.
Garret BlandHOST
32:13
Yeah, yeah, that's in the list for sure.
Garret BlandHOST
32:15
2.0 plus Phantom Liberty, because that's what we played.
Garret BlandHOST
32:19
That's like the actual good version of the game.
Ryan TurfordHOST
32:22
If we can count Endwalker, we'll count Cyberpunk 2.0.

Garret BlandHOST
39:55
Yeah, you know, Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Garret BlandHOST
39:59
Good game.
Garret BlandHOST
39:59
Of course, yeah, Cyberpunk, Phantom Liberty.
Garret BlandHOST
40:04
That was great as well.
Q-BallHOST
16:54
Okay, because I've...
Q-BallHOST
16:56
I played Phantom Liberty, the cyberpunk expansion.
Q-BallHOST
16:59
I finally got around to playing that a couple weeks ago, and it was really, really good.
Q-BallHOST
17:05
But...
ToastyHOST
41:46
I can see where you'd be able to... kind of get away with the other ones but like regardless any of the other ones feel like v still attacked arasaka and like there's no mention of it like the lady doesn't bring up she brings up the fact that like david and them like attacked arasaka and it almost it almost brought them down and they don't mention anything about v um Which feels like that should have come up if that was like a facet of why they were falling.
ToastyHOST
42:22
So truthfully, my headcanon is that in this story, V sided with Solomon in Phantom Liberty and took that ending.
ToastyHOST
42:41
And that's why V's not brought up because V's disappeared off the map and hasn't yet come back up from a coma.
ToastyHOST
42:49
So, you know, they're out of the picture and they just disappeared.
TonyHOST
47:05
Yes.
TonyHOST
47:06
Did you play Cyberpunk? I can answer that question and honestly say yes, I have.
LukeHOST
47:12
How
TonyHOST
47:12
much
LukeHOST
47:12
Cyberpunk did you play? But there's a
TonyHOST
47:13
story behind that.
TonyHOST
47:14
Okay.
TonyHOST
47:19
And so I came back Monday, did stuff on Monday, no time to play anything.
Max PearsGUEST
39:22
Yeah, it was just, what a great experience to do that.
Max PearsGUEST
39:27
Longest project I've ever worked on about, like, just shy of four years, and then I contributed onto the DLC for Phantom Liberty.
Max PearsGUEST
39:35
I didn't see it out to the end, but, like, yeah, mate, very...
Max PearsGUEST
39:40
Just, yeah, a very...
Max PearsGUEST
42:49
So yeah, it's heartbreaking, man.
Max PearsGUEST
42:51
It's one way you...
Max PearsGUEST
42:53
Because we were split trying to obviously fix the base game and start Phantom Liberty, right? And you're going back and forth and I'm very appreciative.
Max PearsGUEST
43:06
I'm sure it's very different for you when you were starting in games.
