The research lab that I lead is CPSEC, Cyber-Physical System Security.

Uh, we focus on OT and, uh, critical infrastructure security.

We have a lot of reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment on PLCs and ICS devices, and, um, a lot of internet scale measurement and scanning for PLCs.

Um, and I also teach courses, um, uh, on this topic.

Like the course partic- Like, uh, uh, this semester, for example, at Georgia Tech, I'm teaching, uh, Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience.

Um, another course I teach is, uh, Intro to, Intro to Cyber-Physical System Security, and then the other one is Cybersecurity of Drones and, um, Autonomous Vehicles.

Um, but, but back to, uh, the topic of the panel, uh, of course, real-time threat intelligence is super important.

It stands for artificial intelligence.

And similarly, cyber-physical systems, acronymed CPS, is kind of a world of connected things that include sensors and humans and animals and machines and models all working together to understand and manage different kinds of problems or situations.

In this case, CPS for agriculture, where, for example, we may have crop sensing systems, we may have soil sensing systems, we may have machines like UAVs or a tractor, and we have human and animal and plants also part of this ecosystem.

All are connected together, talking to each other.

and helping us develop and train models that would help us manage these crops and animals more appropriately to improve quality and yield.

So that's the kind of the concept behind how we use CPS or cyber physical systems in agriculture.

I think there's some broad categories of agricultural robotics in this application.

Can you run us through kind of the big picture categories

Gartner uses a term which I kind of like.

I mean, CPS, cyber physical systems.

They're systems that have one foot in the cyber world, one foot in the physical world.

And therefore, cyber impacts upon them can have physical world consequences, right? Right.

They would bounce off once they got to the layer that wasn't a standard IT operating system.

What's changed in the last few months is those honeypot attacks are going deep now.

Because again, AI's leveled that operating system issue, right? So if you say, where does OT and IoT and CPS, where does it exist? It exists really everywhere.

And the areas that most get attention today are things like critical infrastructure.
