Yeah, and I think this, so cybersecurity is the meat and potatoes of what we do at Cyber Daily, obviously.

And I can only imagine the horrors of having someone compromise a security system like Genentech.

But I don't have a goatee, which is funny 'cause often I do.

So what does that actually, actually say about who I really am?

It's also the cyber crime area and it's something that's not widely necessarily picked up on.

I mean it is by our sister publication Cyber Daily and the team over there, they do a fantastic job.

But How is it changing now, given the scale is shifting from lone actors or small groups of actors into industrial-scale, AI-enabled, machine-learning-enabled campaigns to target critical infrastructure, industrial espionage, all of those sorts of areas? How is it changing?

Well, I think from a defence perspective and in particular with the army context, with the conference coming up, if you think about some of the advantages of creating an effect with a cyber tool, you're not limited by distance.

They're only getting more sophisticated, but it's just amazing to see that Well, amazing is not the right word.

Terrifying to see that ransomware attacks have surged nearly 400% year on year.

And where that's really coming into potential challenges across the defence and national security space is stolen identities and credentials, as I alluded to our... our Cyber Daily team earlier.

Quite frequently, they sit behind me in the office and they're going through ransomware attacks and checking the information that's been stolen.
