And let me introduce you to J. Tom.

J. Tom is a native of Albany, Georgia, currently residing in Cullowhee, North Carolina.

After graduating from Albany Junior College, J. Tom received his undergraduate degree in accounting cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1977 and his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1980.

J. Tom Morgan began his legal career in 1983 as an assistant district attorney in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Tom opened his own firm in Atlanta in 2007.

He was an adjunct professor of criminal law at Georgia State University Law School for 10 years before moving to North Carolina in 2015.

He is now a professor at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, where he teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, ethics, American courts, introduction to criminal justice.

He is the author of Ignorance is No Defense, a teenager's guide to Georgia law, now in its fifth edition, which explains over 100 laws in Georgia that impact teenagers in easy-to-understand language.
