[bell rings] Every year at Ground Zero, the former site of the Twin Towers, a bell is rung at the exact time each of the planes hit, then the names of the victims are read one by one, a solemn ceremony of remembrance attended today by all living ex-presidents.

We have CTV reporters covering memorials in both Canada and the United States.

Adrian Ghobrial is in New York City, and Heather Wright is in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador.

We'll get to Heather in just a second, but first we'll start with Adrian, who's joining us from that memorial in Ground Zero.

And so they come on a day like today, they come and they show support.

Speaking with some of them as well, they shared that, you know, the trauma of that day, it can recede with time over the last quarter century, though just like a light switch, it can turn back on, and 25 years ago can feel like yesterday.

Uh, I was on CTV earlier this week.

Uh, and there were ceremonies, by the way, uh, Mark, today through Gander.

I saw a report, uh, by Heather Butts at CTV.

They've, uh, set up special meetings at the airport in Gander where so many planes landed.

What'd they say? 37 planes, imagine, at one time on that runway in this tiny little town.

Okay, the Allison Inquiry.

I'm bugged that there's no coverage on this information coming out from either CBC or CTV, Legacy Media, just ignoring the whole situation, which shows major human suffering is happening.

There are so many stories from valid witnesses, and they're just not getting any faith.

It would appear that these shots are not safe and effective, these COVID shots, like they were

I mean, the big conversation today is where were you 25 years ago? Um, just an extraordinary day that, uh, continues, I think, arguably to ripple through the world, um, in ways that we can, could have anticipated, in ways that we, uh, could not.

CTV's national senior, uh, national news senior correspondent, Adrian Ghobrial, is at Ground Zero in New York City for us today.

Adrian, uh, w- what's it, what's it like there? Um, i- it's always, um, uh, it's always very somber, and, uh, I, I find it chilling the, the, uh, the lists of the names-

Always, uh, great to listen to him talk about the time that was, and also where we stand now, and maybe we will get back there again at some point.

Pat's from Calgary, born and raised, started a television career, and he worked in Edmonton.

He worked at both CTV and he worked at Global.

I can't remember which was first.

I think Global first, then CTV.

It doesn't matter.

Anyway, shortly before I got to Global, he left Global, like within a couple of months, and moved to New York where he was doing the morning show.

For very long, or in a long time, I should say.

Meanwhile, this is U.S. President Trump earlier today.

And again, it is unfortunate that we find ourselves in the middle of the trade war with Canada being told that we're not needed, that nothing, in fact, we do for the Americans benefits them or something.

Jeremy Bieber is about to become a reality TV star.

He's going to be part of the cast of the new season of The Traitors Canada on CTV and Crave.

Gut reaction as a Bieber fan.

How do you think he feels about his dad doing reality TV?

Normally on Thursdays, we got CTV's Matt Young to come in here, and he gets us all caught up with the local sports scene, and we do all the video game stuff.

He is swamped over at CTV as he's running the newsroom over there, so he couldn't make it in today.
