understand it's more like a transpiler so it can transpile your ruby into other languages here is the input and then you can define the out the input is the the ruby code and the output can be whatever go rust Crystal, actually we should also talk about Crystal a little bit, but to wrap up the roundhouse thing, then you get, you can also use it for Spinal, what it does, it fixes all the non-compatible, it rewrites all the non-compatible Ruby into compatible Ruby, like all the metaprogramming is going to be expanded, probably, I don't know, but that's how I think it might work, and then you can compile it with Spinal, and then you get a really fast executable at the end, and this is one way to speed up your Ruby and to be able to still look at the code and glance it through understand it but the end result is a fast executable so you get the speed benefit it's not as fast as rust probably it might not be i don't know how the binary is if it's uh if it can run on anything if it's a single binary for every architecture or or not i i didn't look into those details maybe rust wins in that segment but i think you need to weigh your preferences and if you want to be able to look at the code This might be a better option, in my opinion, than just rewriting it to Rust.

Because you can write beautiful Ruby perfectly and super fast with AI.

This is how I work, actually.

So the fact that we've got these agents and these models and these applications that can do this is, I don't know, pretty mind-blowing to say the least.

Yep.

And for this speed discussion, the other interesting thing, which I don't really see that many people talk about, which is weird, is there's this language called Crystal language.

Which is actually, it looks like Ruby, but it's statically typed, but the syntax is very, very close to Ruby.
