Crystal Dangerfield

I, I, I just, I just gotta say, like, I, you know, if this don't give these short players in college some inspiration, then I don't know what will, okay? I don't know what will.

Yeah, Crystal Dangerfield did it as well.

Yeah, 100%.

And yeah, Kiera, short girls can jump [laughs].

Miles' efforts were key for the Lynx as star Napheesa Collier didn't make her season debut until mid-July.

Miles among six Minnesota players who have been named Rookie of the Year: Seimone Augustus, Betty Lennox, Maya Moore, Napheesa Collier, and Crystal Dangerfield back in twenty twenty.

Well, this is interesting.

Frankly, a well-touted, historically great FCS college football coach left his post at Montana and went over to Champaign-Urbana as the defensive coordinator of the Fighting Illini.

Yeah.

I mean, I think what's really interesting too is that Cheryl's only had one other rookie starting point guard, and that was Crystal Dangerfield during the bubble season.

Like her first eight years in Minnesota she had Lindsay Whalen and then she's had, you know, other players, but they've always been vets or experienced players.

Like, I also think there is something really unique that in this season, you know, where Cheryl is the winningest WNBA coach ever and all of these championships and all of this success and sort of someone who's known as maximizing talent, like I, I also look at her in this season where so many players from last year's roster are gone.
