I think that is a bit, um... overzealous and overselling it but in certain instances like with organs and nanotechnology as far as deploying nanotechnology inside of the body to fight cancer cells and whatnot I definitely think that there's something there that is worth exploring Cryonics, the controversial process of freezing a body with the goal of bringing it back to life later, also has a place in transhumanist thinking.
