You should ignore all effects on your opponent's active Pokemon.

They really don't want this thing to lose to Crustle.

They're like, you know what? Maybe 300 damage.

We can't let this thing be losing to Crustle.

The more I've thought about this card, the more I like it.

Most of the things you're looking to shred through are going to be like Crustle or whatever, and they're much bigger than 90.

is you're probably just setting up damage a lot of times.

I think this, I could see this thing play on the right deck.

I think, unfortunately, it might see play in things like Crustle.

think the one thing to call out with that as well is Henry's one of the few top players who will respect Crustle fairly consistently.

We see the Hedrix, the Goomy 35s kind of fade.

the crustal tech just opts and like be like i'll let everyone else handle it and that i mean who knows it might be a combination of like because henry chow is so good he deals with the crustals for you and then henry chow gets dealt with because he's teching and the other people aren't and that's like

A lot of the Dunsparce EX, I will say, in this tournament in the top cut.

There was a lot of, or in the top 32, a lot of people were playing the Dunsparce EX.

And I think we talked about that a little bit last week or last episode two weeks ago now because like I first I was like talking about how I kind of like Crustle but you're like I don't know people have the Dunny X and there's all this other stuff and I was like you know you're kind of right there is and we even see it carrying over to this week the Dunny X is out there obviously good against the slot boxes the Mew boxes and stuff like that so

Like, it, in day one field it's 29.89%, but day two filter on, it's 43% in Crustle.

I feel like the thing with Crustle too is it kind of is – relying on having the time to get fully established so to speak so if you're just like ripping off the simian attacks while they're still even setting up uh you know they're not even swinging with crustle yet like what are they even supposed to do to that

Yeah, and then you'd, like, knock out the Passimian, and then you just, like, stamp them and hit them with another Passimian.

I mean, maybe it works.

I think that, yeah, you're obviously looking for, like, you go first, right, to try to, like, fill out the bench, and then Passimian turn two.

And then if they don't have two energy on that Crustle, like, then you get two free hits in with the Passimian before they can

attack.

So, yeah, and then you're doing 180, so you're, like, definitely two-shotting.

Jirachi EX allows you to...

You would one-shot a Crustle if they don't have any buffs, and you get two-shotted by them.

But, like, they probably do have HP buffs.

So, realistically, it's not a great Crustle counter.

It's okay.

And then...

On top of that, you also have, you know, Mega Lopunny obviously is probably a better Crustle counter because you have a lot more HP.

So it's just going to be easier.

With the Lilies down seems awfully good.

Uh, and he beat, uh, like, you know, Basic Box, beat a Hydrapple, beat a Crustle, which I guess makes sense, right? You're a single prizer and then you have Legacy Energy.
