It was my pick for Anime of the Year because it had almost everything I wanted in an anime at the time.

The writing and execution of Odd Taxi was better that year, but I gave AOTY to Vivi.

So we can say, yeah, they, they, they gave him this award, but we talking about big fish versus little fish here.

Yeah, again, I'm not, I'm not even gonna debate the whole Solo Leveling winning Anime of the Year thing.

I don't really care anymore.

I've moved past it.

So I'm not gonna hate on Solo just because of the fans or cr- well, however Crunchyroll wanted to choose their, their nom- I, I still disagree with how Crunchyroll does their whole thing.

Yeah.

But I'm not gonna hate on Solo because it won Anime of the Year.

I don't think that's fair.

I literally picked it as my anime of the year in like the second episode that we did.

Like two episodes before this.

Yeah, I don't think I'd seen it by that point.

nice all right let me give my first revision which for that i will return to our 2022 anime review episode and this is not the only time i will be returning to an anime review episode which i will do later for a much more regretful take than this one this one is not super egregious but I think there's some context I want to give, but ultimately a revision for my anime of the year in 2022, which was Chainsaw Man, if you remember.
