This might be deja vu all over again.

Ambassador Cruise Line is heading into Germany with a ship familiar to Oceania guests, the Serena.

Ambassador says it bought the 670 passenger ship from Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, then leased it back to Oceania through spring 2028.

After that, it will be renamed Ambella and sail for a new

adults-only brand called Ambassador Kreuzfahrten.

There are a lot of fixed costs when it comes to operating a vessel like that.

But what a sad ending.

A German cruise line and the ship's going to be known as the Kreuzfahrten.

So today I thought I'd ask Jeff to give us a crash course on some of the most fascinating pieces of maritime history and a glimpse into the true history of the Vikings in their Nordic heartland and a hint at the kind of intellectually stimulating experiences you get as a passenger on board a Viking cruise.

After all, it is the thinking person's cruise line.

So we were trying to figure out how to get more international ships, the Vikings of the world, for example, because they had never heard of Malula Bar or the Sunshine Coast.

And the Australian Cruise Ship Conference is held in Sydney every year.

And all the cruise lines from all around the world go to that conference to learn about what's happening in the Asia-Pacific.

So we went and saw the organizers of the conference and said, well, how about you have the 2017 conference on the Sunshine Coast? And they agreed to that.

Today, we're going to talk about the big two for, at least for Crystal and I, we typically go, our go-tos for family cruises.

And we're going to do a kind of a head-to-head comparison of Royal Caribbean and Disney Cruise Line and who does it better.

We've done this with Disney World and Universal Orlando.

So now we're going to do this with cruises.

We'll talk about like tons of different activities, pools, huge variety of dining and entertainment.

It's a lot about kind of the go, go, go.

Disney Cruise Line has a smaller fleet.

But theirs is more about the theming and the storytelling throughout the ship.

We are most likely going to be the only ship there.

No matter what cruise line you decide to go on, very rarely do ships overlap.

You really get that laid back.

less crowded feel when you're in French Polynesia on a cruise.

I've done it on bigger ships and I've done it on smaller ships and I've loved it every time.
