And then I was like, well, I remember the portal from Crown of Midnight.

But then they're talking about... multiple worlds and like we knew about like the little folk and then they were talking about the glass tower and then somebody was saying like and I know we're not like huge into theories but I do understand where people once they go back some of the things just seem glaringly because like weren't the Asteri on like in a glass tower on like glass thrones at some point so I'm not like I didn't really take notes for this when I read it, but I was like, wait a second.

Aelin's journey becoming queen is...

all of the books it's wild so the first few books um we didn't note this we're trying to go quick but like she's working in Adderlyn as an assassin under Erebon Hommel um she ends up going to Endovir as a slave for years when she's caught she ends up coming back to Adderlyn ends up revealing her um who she actually is um to kale and dorian after participating after participating and becoming in this like competition and like yeah which doesn't really become to be important ever again but she's she's in this competition to become the king's assassin assassin to get out of jail basically to get out of the salt mines and so then um kind of at the big culmination and crown of midnight her name she has to reveal who she actually is and to save her they get her on a boat out of Adderland so the king doesn't find out um to Windland so pick us up sorry

So actually these high priestesses at this Yulmas ceremony, they each of the nine gods and goddesses of the world and throne of glass choose a specific person to honor that year.

And there are little kids that get to choose.

selena slash alien gets chosen by the goddess deanna in this temple scene um who i think is who ness's power comes from and i'm gonna get this in a minute but anyway deanna was the goddess um mab who she was turned into a goddess when she died she was one of the three sister queens with maeve who we find out maeve was not their sister and like staged the whole thing but that's the consensus so when may um mab and the other one i'm blanking on her name uh died they became goddesses i don't know how that worked to be honest and we don't ever find out but anyway they're ailens great grandmother so deanna mab is ailens great grandmother very interesting um crazy Next one, Crown of Midnight in Chapter 14.

Let's go back to that tapestry I mentioned a minute ago that Bloomsbury updated.

We're gonna move on to the assassin and the captain.

Now this is Selina and Kale after Throne of Glass, but before Crown of Midnight.

This takes place after the very first mission Selina is sent on.

She's three days later than the time that she was supposed to be back.

So that was pretty cool to know that because obviously we've already read the actual books.

And then to see the way that she's acting, she's clearly like a ball of nerves.

Because when we first see Selena in Crown of Midnight...

This is after two, three, maybe even four missions.
