We're here to ask you some questions about all sorts of things.

But you're going to be here in Minneapolis at the Uptown Theater on September 29th with Dying Fetus and Crowbar and Left to Supper, which is an absolutely stacked lineup of playoff bands on the show.

How did the assembly of the co-headline tour come about this fall or how did that start?

Yeah.

I made, like, a whole thing of it.

But, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Down was there, which has Pat and Kirk from Crowbar.

And the Down set was so sick.

I'm real proud of those guys.

All the guys, you know, it's just a great mixture of people, man, from, you know, Kirk being in Crowbar, Jimmy, I Hate God, and Pepper being in COC, and Phil being back with Pantera.

It was a perfect time.

You know, that's where my career started was with those guys.

I'm sorry, first national releases that I had ever done was the NOLA scene was coming in.

You know, I did Sonic Excess in its purest form for Crowbar back in, I don't know, it was probably 2001 or something, I believe.

I did I Hate Gods, one of their records.

Killing it.

Friday, though, holy shit, Dying Fetus, Sanguasugabog, Crowbar, Left to Suffer, Anadonia, Ascendancy's also on that show, fucking Bareface.

There's like 15 bands on that show, and that's at the Crowfoot and Pike Room.

That'll be a big one.

Down's NOLA album is a snippet in time when the members of Down were young.

It's members of Crowbar, it's members of Corrosion of Conformity, it's members of Pantera, Phil Anselmo.

Rex Brown, I think, was in the band early on, who's also in Pantera.

It is a groovy, riff-laden, pot-smoking, badass classic record that I think a lot of doom metal, a lot of stoner metal, that record is probably right up there.

I mean, my favorite band from the 90s is still Alice in Chains.

and Down out of New Orleans, which was Phil Anselmo from Pantera, Kirk Winestead from Crowbar.

You had Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of Conformity, Jimmy Bauer from I Hate God, and then Rex from Pantera as well.

So, I mean, like, we had some really killer bands back then.
