roles that you had along the way like I saw okay there's that through line the VFX work that you've done in film there's the VFX there when you first entered with Remedy but then you see these layers of responsibility that come on board as you worked on Quantum Break and then you got involved in Control and Crossfire X and you can start you can see this development and you're kind of stretching your wings a little bit and obviously these days as we I don't want to skip too far ahead to the Housemarque side of things yet, but there's bits of narrative that start creeping in.

So obviously as we look forward to today where you've got a much broader oversight over what's going on, but narrative was kind of one of those big next steps.

Did you have aspirations at that point that, okay, I'm here, VFX, I'm doing this, but I really want to get to this sort of I guess vertical within development?

Crossfire X, what's the other one that came out from the control universe? The multiplayer one.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It was a few years ago, there was a game called Crossfire X. Wasn't it a

very Call of Duty-esque shooter multiplayer?

Yeah, and it had a single player that was created by Remedy, funnily enough.

But honestly, to this day, the multiplayer is the worst multiplayer shooter I've ever played in my life.

And shouldn't exist.

And then Control, another third-person shooter.

And then it's just, like, first-person shooter with Crossfire X. And...

A first person friend slot game with FBC Firebreak and now a third person open world checkbox action melee combat game with an RPG skill tree system.

It's like, what the fuck is happening? These guys are making these games that have like absolutely nothing to do or no like history with what they have done.
