Crocodile

Last week, everybody else had to adapt to win their fights, then Luffy finally came back.

Kaiser, you said that water was the answer to his problems, and you thought, Apo, that fighting Crocodile might force Luffy to adapt or gain some sort of upgrade.

This week, we finally get the answer to both of these, but breeding Crocodile turns out to be only one part of the equation when it comes to saving Alabasta.

And it's not enough.

It's never enough.

That was my favorite line from the whole r- from the whole read.

You just don't get it.

Like, Luffy talking to Crocodile as if he is a, i- is a rational human being, right? And he's like, "You just don't get it." Like, the reasoning why we do what we do is so different than the reasoning why you do what you do.

I saw someone point out on a wanted poster, I think it was AI, 'cause honestly I haven't paid that much attention to it, but I'm pretty sure it's fucking AI.

Um, Crocodile's wanted poster and it wasn't Crocodile, it was Croco D. Ile.

[laughs]

Mm.

Like you said, we don't see it in the anime and it also in the live action gives a chance to talk about Mr.

Zero again.

So keep building that suspense for him as an upcoming villain.

Definitely.

One.

While this is happening, we come back to Vivi, who's fighting a completely different kind of battle with Crocodile.

And he reveals what he's been looking for and what he's going to get out of Alabasta by the time all of this is over.

Last time

happy to say that i was wrong but you know i i was reading with some some pretty heavy anxiety wondering if you know if nami was going to get through that one because miss double finger was like what a powerhouse she is but nami had that bad ass weapon that usopp made for which was so fun to watch her trying to figure out how to work it yeah such a clown show

Yeah, but Kaiser, this is I believe this is what it feels like to go against one of the seven warlords.

You know, this is actually our crew going against the Sir Crocodile's crew and him.

He's one of the seven warlords.

But the only thing that that Vivi can't tell us, OK, it's very important that she cannot tell us is the main boss's name because there's eyes everywhere.

So it's very adamant that she does not tell the crew about Crocodile, one of the seven lords of this.

Oh, shit.

This is probably

And we already got a glimpse that Kuma might have the single most traumatic past in the entire story of One Piece.

Now, Crocodile was the very first Warlord that Luffy ever defeated.

We can't tell a whole lot about Crocodile's past, but we do know that he has a grudge against Whitebeard.

In addition, we also know that he has a deep, dark secret that only Emporio Ivankov knows.

And while working with Nico Robin, his organization Baroque Works decided to try and steal the throne of Alabasta while Crocodile secretly sought the ancient weapon, Pluton.

And it should be noted that Crocodile as a child is very gender ambiguous, but do with that information what you want.

Crocodile plotted against Nefertari Cobra, the beloved ruler of the desert island, Alabasta.

His daughter, Princess Vivi, is even an honorary Straw Hat member after their travels together.
