Cristian Perez

Kyle Nelson, Canada.

Christian Perez from-

You mean Kyle...

No, you're-

This is a fight I wanted to jump into and I'm so excited about it.

Kyle Nelson, Canada.

He's fighting at lightweight against Christian Perez from Mexico.

Three five-minute rounds, 155.

I, I haven't actually even thought about it.

Christian Perez taking on Kyle Nelson here, Matty.

I...

Obviously, Kyle Nelson has had, I... maybe a, a much longer, uh, UFC tenure than I think any of us anticipated.

He's gotten some really nice wins over guys like, you know, Matt Frevola.

He got the Bill Algeo win back in the day.

Like, he, he's actually won four of his last six fights, and now he gets the prospect, the guy off the Contender Series, Christian Perez, one of the best prospects I...

By the way, I'm gonna do, on Twitter next week, I'm gonna do top 10 prospects of the Contender Series season.

I can even see a little submission, a little Darce action, if you will.

All right, then we get into the lightweight, Kyle Nelson, Christian Perez.

I mean, I can be as quickly as you want me with this one.

Christian Perez is making his debut.

He's a season 10 fighter.

Knocked out Logan Paxton.

Five and six with a draw in the UFC.

Never shies away from engaging.

Let's move on to the next fight here in the lightweight division.

It's a Canadian taking on the Mexican here in Christian Perez, excuse me, Kyle Nelson.

And that is, of course, the tale of the tape.

You see the age difference there, gentlemen.

Um, next up- We've got another man who's done nothing but cause me problems.

Kyle "The Monster" Nelson taking on Christian Perez.

Uh, you guys know I have a long, illustrious history of hating Kyle Nelson in the UFC, uh, mostly because I was absolutely sold on Kyle Nelson when he first got to the UFC, and then he kinda let me down with these boo-hoo performances.

And the second that I started fading him, that's when he got his shit together and [laughs] started winning, Gordo.

He's had some success.

I don't think he'll have prolonged success.

Now, Christian Perez, on the flip side of this thing, is 15 and 2.

He's just 27 years old, and he's out of the GOAT Shed, where, of course, our beloved Gillian Robertson, uh, did a lot of her training out of.

If he doesn't, the UFC should definitely reconsider on where their position is on Ionut.

Next fight up is Kyle Nelson versus Christian Perez.

Who you got?

I have Christian Perez to win this one.

Kyle Nelson has been knocked out in two of his last three fights.

And now we have Christian Perez, that they're obviously trying to get up there in the ranks.

You have to go through some of these veterans, and the 155 division is so packed with killers.

If he can't get it done against this guy, is he really ready for the UFC? Kyle hasn't knocked anyone out in over two years.
