Crime Junkie, which is a very popular podcast, I wanna say they're always in the top 10 podcasts of all, like of all everything, released an episode or released a, a clip where they really kind of took down the interview right away, and this was on Sunday night.

Now, it's not a popular clip that they released, but I'm curious if you guys think this is interesting.

I blink that is probably the worst interview I've seen in a long time.

I think it's a cultural shift, and I don't wanna come down too much on Ashley Flowers overall.

You know, the idea around the fact that, uh, you know, Crime Junkie isn't doing as well as it has in the past.

But first off, uh, don't feel bad for Crime Junkie.

They got a huge, huge amount of change.

I mean-

People are leaving.

She got a lot of money, and probably some people are maybe not happy they didn't get some of that money.

You know, I think after reading the entire story, one of the key things that really popped into my head is just how hard it is, and I think that this is the story for the independent podcaster, right? Because there's not very many of us that are gonna be able to have the numbers that Crime Junkie has.

She asked him, what's going on? And he said, I thought I heard something and I wanted to make sure you were all right.

This information was given by Zelig's family to the podcast Crime Junkie.

According to Kathy, that's the first time he had ever done something like that.

So it seemed weird.

Once police released information to the public, they received a tip from a man about something that he felt was a little unusual at the time.

Dateline refers to this man as a volunteer maintenance worker on the trail.

Crime Junkie refers to him as a park ranger.
