Well, l-l-let me talk about Crieff, right? So I am-

And Crieff is doing much, much better.

And now my drive is now full of people walking dogs.

Um, and there again, I look at Crieff, and I think, "This is good." I mean, if, uh, d-

Meanwhile, at Glen Turret Distillery in Crieff, Scotland, a legendary tortoiseshell cat named Towser earned an official Guinness World Record by catching twenty-eight thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine mice over her twenty-four career, attributed by local distillers to her daily habit of lapping up a drop of single malt scotch whiskey stirred into her morning bowl of milk.

Well done, Towser.

Brazilian photographer Marcos Alberti put the old proverb about the first glass being for food, the second for love, and the third for mayhem to the test by taking portraits of his friends after one, two, and three glasses of wine, catching their journey from stiff office poses to uncontrollable belly-laughing joy.

I'm impressed.

I'm actually in the Crieff library at the moment, where to my horror, although I'm a local boy, this is my local town, there are no copies of my book, and there are two copies of Alistair's books.

We'll have to, we'll have to change that.

Um, and as you've seen, you know, life just throws you curve balls and, uh, yeah, it's been amazing.

So I got here last weekend, had a few days in Edinburgh, went to Crieff, and then I just got to Glasgow yesterday, and it's been really, really amazing.

Yeah.

How have you been with the people?

Um, and, but, you know, there is the internet, and so like, I'm like, and I don't wanna be a burden on anyone.

I hate, I hate like, I hate that dynamic and, and even though I, I didn't feel like that, but I knew, I'm like, let me see what my credit card points are at and see if I can get myself an exchange for a couple hotel rooms, which I was able to do.

So luckily, like sh- huge shout-out to Crieff Hydro.

They offered me two nights there.

Now, I'll tell you a bit more about Captain John as we go, but let's get right to the music first of all, and to the first player to perform on the night, who was Craig Sutherland.

Now, Craig is a Perthshire laddie from Crieff.

He was taught there by Adrian Cram for light music and by Ronnie Clark for Peebroch.

He came up through the Vale of Athol pipe band.
